The Great Rare Books Bake-Off, a joint effort between Penn State University Libraries and Monash University Library, provided an enjoyable, creative outlet during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 by inviting the community to bake featured recipes from the universities’ rare cookbook collections and post the results on social media.

Students and faculty from Penn State Abington studied in Ireland over spring break, exploring the creation of art through the nation's culture, history, and physical landscape. Another group took a deep dive into language, literature and culture in Spain while others studied business ethics in Malta. Students selected for Alternative Spring Break traveled to a Native American reservation in South Dakota and Washington, D.C., to work with those in need.
Steve Flanagan, Sherveen Karbasiafshar, James Frazier and Mathew Chen created HemoGo. HemoGo is one of six Penn State student teams competing for $30,000 in funding on "The Investment" airing at 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2018, on WPSU.
